About the pastor

 

Samuel Ross Livingston was born in St. Petersburg, FL in 1966. He is married to Kimberly, and they have three children: Ross (19-not pictured), Ryan (18) and Amanda (9). They have lived in Hohenwald since 1990. Brother Sam became a Christian at age six, and surrendered to the ministry and was ordained at Highland Baptist Church on July 13, 1997. He is a bi-vocational pastor, and works full-time as Chief of Police in the Hohenwald Police Department.  As the pastor, Brother Sam states “I feel it is my job to shepherd the flock as Jesus leads me to do so. I take preaching as a privilege and am very conscientious that what I preach lines up accurately with what God’s Word says.”

 

 

 

Brother Danny is shown here with his wife Carolyn. He utilizes everyday items that children are familiar with to teach weekly lessons about the Bible and Christ. The sermons are fun and interesting for not only the children, but the adults as well.  They have recently incorporated puppets into their weekly sermons.... Molly & Bruiser.
